Orii Kaz (折井和良) Exhibition at Gallery La Mer (ギャラリー La Mer) - (2014/04)

Sakuma Kyoko (佐久間香子) Exhibition at Art Space Rashinban (アートスペース羅針盤) - (2014/04)

This nihonga (and watercolor) exhibition (2014/03/17-22) by Sakuma Kyoko (佐久間香子) at Art Space Rashinban (アートスペース羅針盤) consisted of (mainly) a striking set of nihonga paintings, with a few nice watercolor paintings in the small side room.  As with the 2012 exhibition I saw by this artist, the pictures were very realistic looking and beautiful.  [Video / 動画]

この日本画の展示会は、DM絵葉書（と写真と動画）のような絵でした。 とても、自然とレアルな美しい絵でした。

The third picture above is much more striking and vibrant in person - the contrast between the bright silver at the top and the darker green at the bottom is beyond what the camera could capture.  Take my word for it that it's a very beautiful picture!
