Okamoto Sola Exhibition at Gallery La Mer (ギャラリーLa Mer) - (2012/03)

This exhibition (2012/03/19-24) by Okamoto Sola at Gallery La Mer (ギャラリーLa Mer) consisted of a surprisingly wide range of styles, with many rather nice pictures.

この展示会は、実に面白かった！ 色々なスタイルの絵と格好いい+可愛いミニチュア絵とか。 この画家さんに「万歳！」です！  It was quite refreshing to see the different styles, different colors, different concepts, etc. of this exhibition.  Too often artists paint 20 versions of the same picture in order to present a single concept.  Without pictures, this makes for an easy write-up, but the point of visual art is to look at it, not read about it, so it's a shame for art to be straight-jacketed in order to make a writer's life easier.  In any  case, I say "Banai!" to this artist for presenting a very enjoyable exhibition.
