This exhibition (2012/06/01-09) of (nearly) antique (1910's-1930's, etc.) tableware by SMT ART at Office Iida (オフィスイイダ) is interesting. Since ceramics don't change much with age, some of the 80-year-old cups are in what appears to be perfect condition, and you can easily imagine how the generation of people in the decade they were made viewed them.
Many of the designs seem timeless, while others definitely look like they're from another era.
