This exhibition (2014/10/10-11/01) by Horikoshi Chiaki (堀越千秋) at Gallery Kazuki (画廊香月) consists of more of this artist's cheerful art. The title of the exhibition is: 「横になって浮く」
At the opening party on Friday, October 10th, as always, the entire room (entire floor... entire building even!) came alive with with his infectious laughter and beaming positivism, highlighted with his colorful art.
This group exhibition (2014/08/04-09) at Ginza-One Tokyo-Ten (サロンど東京展 サマーアートフェスタ 2014年8月) consisted of a wide range of art (see photos and video below). I also took part in this exhibition - with five combination photos.
This exhibition (2014/04) by Orii Kaz (折井和良) at Gallery La Mer (ギャラリー La Mer) consisted of paintings in the style of the picture featured on the promotional card (shown below). This exhibition was actually back in April... sorry for taking so long to post this!
This nihonga (and watercolor) exhibition (2014/03/17-22) by Sakuma Kyoko (佐久間香子) at Art Space Rashinban (アートスペース羅針盤) consisted of (mainly) a striking set of nihonga paintings, with a few nice watercolor paintings in the small side room. As with the 2012 exhibition I saw by this artist, the pictures were very realistic looking and beautiful. [Video / 動画]
The third picture above is much more striking and vibrant in person - the contrast between the bright silver at the top and the darker green at the bottom is beyond what the camera could capture. Take my word for it that it's a very beautiful picture!
