Kato Takaaki (加藤隆明) Exhibition at Nabis Gallery (なびす画廊)

This exhibition/installation (2010/10/11-16) by Kato Takaaki (加藤隆明) at Nabis Gallery (なびす画廊) consisted of three main elements.  First were three structures in the middle of the room (one shown on the promotional card), and then there were scroll-like long hanging strips of paper in the back, with silk threads hanging over green lines, and on another wall, five sets of two very thin strips of scroll-like paper with silk threads hanging between the two sheets of paper.

For me personally, the five double-strips of paper were really interesting, as they would react to the air currents you generated as you walked by (the artist demonstrated this effect when I asked about that part of the display, and then I tried it myself).  That sounds only normal I suppose, but what was interesting, is how I walked by, turned around - noticed that there was no movement for a couple of seconds, and *then* the paper reacted to the air currents.  The apparent slow speed of the air currents was really interesting.
