This exhibition (2010/10/25-11-06) by Kikuchi Nuiko (菊池絵子) at
Office Iida (オフィスイイダ) consisted of pictures in both oil and pencil. One of the simple designs is shown on the promotional card, which mimics the standard format of post office postcards in Japan. There was another picture that was interesting to ponder - the more so after the artist explained the concept and thinking behind its creation. This is the great part about talking to artists directly - as opposed to someone else interpreting their work - they *know* what they were thinking while making their own creation, which others can only guess.
