Fujii Shiho (藤井志帆) Exhibition at Gallery Kobo (巷房-階段下) - (2010/08)

This exhibit (2010/08/02-14) by Fujii Shiho (藤井志帆) at Gallery Kobo (巷房-階段下) consists of some ceramic objects that appear to something else.  The trick is to look at the scene in front of you and figure out which items are ceramic and which items are what they appear to be (see second photo).

This exhibit was a lot of fun, since I was completely taken in by it - not realizing that any of the objects were ceramic.  The artist told that that is part of the objective of this exhibition/installation - to surprise people with the revelation of what they are actually looking at.

[2010/08/09] - Most exhibitions are one week (Mon-Sat), but this one is for two weeks, with an altered display from the second week - which looked like this (remember that things are not as they appear!):
