Anzai Shigeo (安斉重夫) Exhibition at Gallery-403 (ギャラリー403) - (2010/11)

This exhibition (2010/11/01-07) by Anzai Shigeo (安斉重夫) at Gallery-403 (ギャラリー403) consists of a collection of (mostly) very intricate creations made out of steel, with all joints being fused together with heat (no glue) and the final result coated (to prevent the finished piece from rusting).  As you can see from the following photos, the results are rather nice.  (Interestingly, although made of steel, the pieces are not overly heavy.)  I especially liked the trees, which cast interesting shadows.  With the right lighting and room placement, I imagine you could simulate real tree shadows with them in a room....
