This
nihonga exhibition (2011/04/01-09) by Sawada Kaori (澤田かおり) at
Gallery Tomo (ぎゃらりぃ朋) consists of a wide range of subjects - the two largest paintings being very striking. One - a view the artist saw when visiting Spain (featured on the promotional card) - conveys the open spaces she experienced there (the impact is stronger in the original large painting), and the other was a mountain snow scene that I liked a lot - apparently a scene the artist saw on a snowboarding trip.
[2012 Exhibition]
