This exhibition (2011/07/11-16) by Uchiyama Eriko (内山江里子) at
Nabis Gallery (なびす画廊) consisted of a very interesting set of large woodblock prints, as well as a couple of large drawings. Looking at the pictures, they seemed to be a kind of cross between scenic views and abstract dreams - with the whole leaving an impression of something from the imagination. I think I could stare at some of them on a daily basis and always see a mystery. この木版展示会は、DM絵葉書のような絵でした。 絵を見ると景色とアブストラクトの中間な感じと思いました。
